By accessing this site you agree to accept, without qualification or limitation, all the terms and conditions set out on this site (the “terms”). By making a reservation with The Chateau & Wye House Suites you agree that the contract between you and The Chateau & Wye House Suites in respect of the rental of the apartment shall be solely on the terms of the reservation form (as defined below) and the terms.


Bookings
All rates are per apartment per night and are in Pounds Sterling (GBP). All rates are correct at the time of publication and are inclusive of VAT and services. After submitting a reservation request your reservation will be accepted and confirmed as set out in the reservation form as soon as possible and in any event by the next day. The Chateau & Wye House Suites will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the requirements of each reservation are met to the best of its ability. The Chateau & Wye House Suites reserves the right if necessary to provide an alternative apartment of at least equivalent standard at no extra charge to you. Check-in time is 1400 hours and check-out time is 1200 hours.


Payments
For online reservations a valid credit or debit card is required for reservations. For other means of reservation payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. For bookings of less than one month, a payment equivalent to the charge is required at the time of the reservation. For bookings of one month and above, a deposit equivalent to a minimum of one month’s rental charge is required at the time of the reservation. The balance of the charge is to be paid as notified to you by Wye House - The Chateau & Wye House Suites in writing. You are responsible for the cost of any phone calls or extras (being those items not specifically included in the charge as referred to on the web site of The Chateau & Wye House Suites The Chateau & Wye House Suites’s promotional literature). You are liable for any damage or breakages caused by you or your visitors to the apartment or the common areas of the building that the apartment is situated in. Credit card imprints will be required on or prior to arrival to cover the cost of any phone calls, extras, damage or breakages and you agree that The Chateau & Wye House Suites is authorised to use such imprints to cover such costs.


Cancellation You must notify The Chateau & Wye House Suites in writing of a cancellation to your reservation. For reservations made for a rental period of below one month: If you cancel the reservation or you fail to arrive for a reservation, for stays of 1-6 days you will be charged a sum equivalent to the full cost of the stay, for stays of 7 days or more you will be charged a maximum of 7 nights accommodation; or if you do not stay for the full rental period, you will be charged a sum equivalent to the lesser of (1) the rental charge or (2) if the accommodation can be re-let (for part or all the rental period) a sum equivalent to the un-let proportion of the rental period plus an administration charge of £20 (plus VAT). For reservations made for a rental period of one month or above: If any payment is not made by you on the due date, The Chateau & Wye House Suites shall be entitled, without limiting any other rights it may have, to charge interest on the outstanding amount (both before and after any judgment) at the rate of 6% above the base rate from time to time of Barclays Bank plc from the due date until the outstanding amount is paid in full.


Warranties and Liability
Nothing contained in the contract between you and The Chateau & Wye House Suites shall create or be deemed or implied to create any relationship of landlord or tenant between The Chateau & Wye House Suites and you. The Chateau & Wye House Suites Limited warrants that it will provide the services pursuant to its contract with you using reasonable care and skill. All other warranties are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Chateau & Wye House Suites is not responsible in any way for loss of or damage to any of your personal belongings. The Chateau & Wye House Suites recommends that you obtain appropriate insurance cover against loss or damage to personal property during your stay. The Chateau & Wye House Suites Limited is not liable for the acts or defaults caused by third parties or for events outside its reasonable control. Important: Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by The Chateau & Wye House Suites’s negligence, The Chateau & Wye House Suites shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of its contract with you, for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the negligence of Wye House - The Chateau & Wye House Suites, its servants or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the service provided by Wye House - The Chateau & Wye House Suites or the use of that service by you or which results from any access or use, or any inability to access or use, this site. The entire liability of Wye House - The Chateau & Wye House Suites under or in connection with its contract with you shall not exceed the rental charge. Nothing in the terms shall affect a consumer’s statutory rights. Although The Chateau & Wye House Suites has endeavoured to ensure all information on its web site and in its publications is correct at the time of publication, The Chateau & Wye House Suites does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information contained on its web site or in its publications. The Chateau & Wye House Suites reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility, amenity or the content of its website or any publication at any time, without notice if necessary, and without any liability to you.


Apartment Rules
The following rules together with any other such rules which are notified to you in writing or are displayed at the apartment apply to your stay (together the ‘rules’): The limit to the total number of guests who stay overnight in the apartment is restricted to that shown in the reservation form. The Chateau & Wye House Suites reserves the right to charge a supplement for each additional person in excess of the above shown limits an amount equivalent to the rental charge ÷ 2 for each night that such additional person(s) stay at the apartment. You agree to observe all reasonable precautions for safety and security of the apartment and the common areas of the building that the apartment is situated in. You agree not to keep in the apartments any of the following: any live animals of any description; articles or liquids that are dangerous, noxious, inflammable, explosive or which may give rise to a health or fire risk; firearms, illegal drugs and any other illegal goods; anything unlawfully in your possession; anything specified as being prohibited in any written notice or list, which may be issued from time to time by The Chateau & Wye House Suites Limited. You agree not to use the apartment for any business purpose or any purpose which is illegal or immoral. In the event of a breach of any of the rules, Wye House - The Chateau & Wye House Suites Limited reserves the right to terminate its contract with you with immediate effect and in such circumstances the charge (or balance of the charge) is payable immediately. In addition you agree to indemnify The Chateau & Wye House Suites against any losses, damages and expenses (including costs) it suffers due to breach of any rules by you. You acknowledge that The Chateau & Wye House Suites and its agents can have unrestricted and immediate right of access at all times to the apartment in the event of an emergency (or a perceived emergency) and have a right of access at all other times upon reasonable notice given by The Chateau & Wye House Suites to you.


General
In these terms ‘The Chateau & Wye House Suites’ means Wye Virtusor Corporation ,‘you’ means the person (being an individual, firm or corporation) set out in the reservation form ‘charge’ means the charge(s) payable by you as set out in the reservation form ‘period’ means the period set out in the reservation form ‘apartment’ means the apartment referred to in the reservation form (or such other apartment of a similar standard in a similar location as notified to you by The Chateau & Wye House Suites ) ‘reservation form’ means form sent to you by The Chateau & Wye House Suites confirming your reservation. The reservation form and the terms contain all the terms of the agreement between you and The Chateau & Wye House Suites. Any variation to the reservation form or the terms needs to be agreed in writing signed by you and a duly authorised signatory of The Chateau & Wye House Suites. The Chateau & Wye House Suites reserves the right to update any of the terms at any time. The contract between you and The Chateau & Wye House Suites and the use of The Chateau & Wye House Suites website is governed by, and is to be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By using this site you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. The headings in the terms are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation The Chateau & Wye House Suites’s web site, its contents and other The Chateau & Wye House Suites publications are subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights whether registered or unregistered. Any use of any material on this site or in other The Chateau & Wye House Suites publications is prohibited. The Chateau & Wye House Suites name and logo are subject to trademarks. Registration is not required to enter our Web Site. During an on-line booking session, personal details must be entered. This data falls into two categories: Contact Details (Name, Address, Phone, email etc) are used during credit authorisation and if we need to contact you. Financial Details (Credit Card Number, expiry date etc) are used to process your payment. Collection of all financial data is handled via a secure server. Wye House - The Chateau & Wye House Suites does not store credit card details beyond authorisation. Data will not be transferred outside The European Economic Area (EEA).

Access to Information
Full details of any information held will be provided on written request to you. A small fee of £10 per request will be levied. Should you wish your information to be deleted this will be actioned by written request.

Notification of Changes in Privacy Policy
If at any time in the future our Privacy Policy changes, this page will be updated to reflect them.
